I Know A Girl
I know a girl, beautiful soul
But she's kind of messed up in her brain
She feels alone, digs herself a hole
And in it hides all of her pain
Surrounding her hole she built a wall
To keep new pain out but old pain in
Her friends try to climb, but it's too tall
Each day she wakes entrapped with her sin
Without release she become confused
And when she looks at the glass she sees
Dreams tattered, spirit worn, life abused
Evil replaced happy memories
Through the cracks, sunshines hope hits her face
And when she looks through the glass she sees
Our arms reaching for her embrace
"You don't deserve love," whispers the disease
I knew a girl, beautiful soul
But she was kind of messed up in her head
She wouldn't let anyone console
And one day we found her alone, dead.
But she's kind of messed up in her brain
She feels alone, digs herself a hole
And in it hides all of her pain
Surrounding her hole she built a wall
To keep new pain out but old pain in
Her friends try to climb, but it's too tall
Each day she wakes entrapped with her sin
Without release she become confused
And when she looks at the glass she sees
Dreams tattered, spirit worn, life abused
Evil replaced happy memories
Through the cracks, sunshines hope hits her face
And when she looks through the glass she sees
Our arms reaching for her embrace
"You don't deserve love," whispers the disease
I knew a girl, beautiful soul
But she was kind of messed up in her head
She wouldn't let anyone console
And one day we found her alone, dead.
